Hello all,
TODAY IS HALLOWEEN! So for all those who do like Halloween, HAPPY HALLOWEEN! This is an American holiday and unfortunately for diabetics it is a time when we are tempted, just like any other holiday, we are tempted by that candy. A lot of people don’t know the carbohydrate grams in these candies because it doesn’t have nutritional information on the back of the wrappers. So, it is difficult to say what the carbohydrate grams are for these candies.
Now most diabetics may say “We are not supposed to be eating candy.” However, that temptation is still there and then there are some diabetics who do eat the candy. So, in order to help you out I have a link that you can access a chart from dLife and Thank You to dLife for that. I appreciate them putting this type of information out there for diabetics.
This chart lists some of the most popular candies that people put out for Halloween. Such as, Three Musketeers, Baby Ruth, and Candy Corn. It is not a complete list, but this will give you a basic idea of the carbohydrate grams that these types of candies have.
For those of you who do not like Halloween, the candy is still out there. You have people with large bowls of it at work or in the schools or at home. So, it is very hard for someone to resist that temptation and count the grams of carbohydrates in these candies. This chart is there to help you.
I would like to thank dLife once again for putting out this information and you can download the chart from dLife.com through the link below. Watch the video if you can’t access the link or if it is no longer there. Once again, HAPPY HALLOWEEN to everybody and have a good day.
